Valery Krivenko joined the team in 2012. He is Managing Partner of Bright Capital focusing on BC Energy and Energy Efficiency Technology Fund. The funds invest in US and European technology companies and actively facilitates their business development in Russia and former Soviet Union.

Valery as an individual is an active investor in hi-tech startups. He has invested and/or co-founded a number of companies in USA, Germany, Canada, and Russia.

Previously Valery was the Head of High Tech Investments at ONEXIM Group, one of the leading investment holdings in Russia with assets of more than USD 20 billion. Prior to ONEXIM Valery was Director for Business Development at Sibur. In 2001-2006 Valery was with McKinsey & Company where he worked on various projects in Russia and Europe focusing on private equity, strategy, M&A, and performance management.

Valery holds an MBA degree from London Business School and M.S. in International Economics from MGIMO University.
