Under Governor Markell's leadership, Delaware has attracted some of the hottest clean-tech companies to the state. Storage technology innovators and an electric vehicle manufacturer are among the latest to locate operations in the region.

The Governor is especially intrigued by new-generation light technology. That's why he chose to visit LUXIM for a demonstration of the light sources that are now illuminating city streets. He was compelled by the attractive economics associated with this energy-efficient technology when compared to traditional light sources.
